Installation VeroSMS Laravel Backend

Upload to cPanel

Follow these steps to upload VeroSMS to your cPanel hosting:

Step 1: Login to cPanel

Access your cPanel account provided by your hosting provider.

Step 2: Open File Manager

Navigate to the "Files" section and click on "File Manager".

Step 3: Upload Project Files

In File Manager:

  1. Navigate to your public_html folder (or subdomain folder)
  2. Click "Upload" and select all VeroSMS project files
  3. Wait for the upload to complete

Step 4: Extract Files (if needed)

If you uploaded a zip file:

  1. Right-click the zip file in File Manager
  2. Select "Extract"
  3. Delete the zip file after successful extraction

Database Setup

Create a MySQL database for VeroSMS to store all messages and device information.

Step 1: Create Database

In cPanel:

  1. Navigate to "MySQL Databases"
  2. Create a new database (e.g., VeroSMS_db)
  3. Create a database user with strong password
  4. Add the user to the database with ALL privileges

Step 2: Save Credentials

Save these details in a secure notepad:

Database Name: VeroSMS_db
Database User: VeroSMS_user
Database Password: YourStrongPassword123
Database Host: localhost
Important: These credentials will be needed in the next step.

Auto Installer Process

The system will automatically launch the installer when you visit your domain:

Step 1: Welcome Screen

Click "Next" to begin installation:

Step 2: System Check

The installer will verify server requirements:

Step 3: Database Configuration

Enter your database credentials when prompted:

Step 4: Completion

You'll see this confirmation when ready:

Note: If the installer doesn't auto-launch, try accessing manually: https://yourdomain.com/install

Admin Login

Access your VeroSMS admin panel with the default credentials.

Step 1: Access Admin Panel

Open your browser and navigate to:

http://yourdomain.com/admin

Step 2: Login with Default Credentials

Use these credentials for first login:

                              
                              Email: admin@admin.com
                              Password: 123456

Step 3: Change Password

After login:

  1. Click on your profile in top right
  2. Select "Change Password"
  3. Enter a strong new password
  4. Save changes
Security Note: Always change the default password immediately after first login.
